  2. They come in many colours, not just red, you’ll find white, pink, purple, and even black radishes in nature.
  3. Radishes are part of the brassica family, making them cousins to cabbage, broccoli, and kale.
  4. You can eat the greens too! Radish tops are slightly peppery and delicious in soups, sautés, or pesto.
  5. In Oaxaca, Mexico, there’s a festival called La Noche de los Rábanos (“The Night of the Radishes”), where people carve giant radishes into intricate sculptures.
